Members with their families and friends, are invited to the many activities which celebrate special events including American and Australian State days and holidays, e.g. Australia Day, Coral Sea Week, 4th July, Thanksgiving, Christmas.

Other informal activities are held throughout the year and include opportunities to meet visiting diplomats and business leaders as well as extending hospitality to visiting American groups (military, cultural, social & sporting).

The Association welcomes new American residents and visitors who are invited to social functions and are offered in-home hospitality and assistance with transition issues and understanding the Australian culture.

Venue: The Benjamin on Franklin, 233 Franklin Street, Adelaide 

Timing: Meet 6.00 – 7.00 pm in the bar area

 Happy Hour 5.00 – 7.00pm

                     The venue is a well furnished old-style pub
You are encouraged to stay for dinner from about 7.00 pm
The pub has an extensive menu with reasonably priced meals
Casual dress.
No RSVP needed.

AUSTRALIA DAY PICNIC

Australia Day will be celebrated with a picnic.

Date: Sunday 27 January 2019.

Venue: Roy Amer Reserve, Oakden

(opposite the home of DeDe & David Stoba,

1 Regent Court, Oakden)

Timings: From 12:30 pm 

Members & teenagers $10, Non-members $15, Children free

BYO drinks and chairs – all else is provided
