Members with their families and friends, are invited to the many activities which celebrate special events including American and Australian State days and holidays, e.g. Australia Day, Coral Sea Week, 4th July, Thanksgiving, Christmas.

Other informal activities are held throughout the year and include opportunities to meet visiting diplomats and business leaders as well as extending hospitality to visiting American groups (military, cultural, social & sporting).

The Association welcomes new American residents and visitors who are invited to social functions and are offered in-home hospitality and assistance with transition issues and understanding the Australian culture.

The venue is a well furnished old-style pub
You are encouraged to stay for dinner from about 7.00 pm
The pub has an extensive menu with reasonably priced meals

77th ANNIVERSARY CORAL SEA COMMEMORATIVE SERVICE

The Remembrance Columns in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens

(Enter the main gates on North Terrace and take the first path to the right)

10.30 am SUNDAY 5 MAY 2019

The simple service conducted by a chaplain lasts about 40 minutes and includes the laying of tributes by the American, Australian Federal and State Government representatives, Armed Services, Service Organizations and other interested parties.
The reading of the Australian Prime Minister’s and the US President’s Messages is followed by a Commemorative Address to be given by:
Commander Andrew Burnett, RAN
Commanding Officer of Navy Head Quarters – South Australia
Uniform optional – Medals and Decorations may be worn.
